This and Innocence are just under Faith in my favorite soundtracks list. Some of these songs are just perfect for the storyline. My greatest triumph was when I put in the CD & Heather said of "I'm Not Anybody's Girl," "This is for Neko at the beginning of Reclaiming Neko, isnt' it? It's perfect"! I especially think the songs from "He's Everything You Want" thru "Dante's Prayer" are moving & perfect in lyrics & music for the storyline. |

Hating Tenshi - Neko absolutely despises Tenshi by the third book in the series. She believes that Tenshi is arrogant, and that she has probably always taken liberties with Neko's feelings. So she refuses to even give Tenshi a chance and is upset at any mention of her. |

Paying for Mizuno Neko's Mistakes - Though the song is about reincarnation, Neko feels similarly. She feels like she has try and be the old Neko, but at the same time, that she has to make up for those things Neko did that she doesn't approve of - like loving Tenshi. |

Neko and Jasper - Neko still feels like Mi-chan is hiding things from her, so she asks Jasper to tell her. Meanwhile, she's trying to figure out her feelings for him and comes to the realization that she should look not only at the past, but to the future too. |

Tenshi vs. Jasper - Feeling guilty, since he feels he's betraying both Neko & Tenshi by doing so, yet also following his own emotions, Jasper tells Tenshi that he loves Neko & wants to date her. Tenshi, however, knows that she still loves Neko & that Neko still loves her, though she won't get in Neko's way with Jasper if that's what she wants. |

Acceptance of Tenshi? - As the night progresses, Neko finds herself charmed more & more by Tenshi, whether it's the older girl ordering dinner for her, translating the English play, or just being her normal charming self. By the end, they both have butterflies in their stomach, & Neko is even willing to kiss Tenshi (although Tenshi fails to clearly recognize this). |

Challenge at Pole Vaulting - This song speaks to Neko's trials at pole vaulting, as well as Tenshi continuing to win Neko back, despite the fact that Neko is ticked off that Tenshi didn't kiss her the night before. Neko succeeds at her first pole vault attempt, but her reaction to Jasper dampens Tenshi's spirits. |

Like a Brother - Neko & Jasper go on a celebratory date, ending with her kissing him. The kiss feels to her like she was kissing a brother. She goes home very confused about her relationship with Jasper - wishing she could love him that way, but unable to. |

Tenshi Gives Up - This song is a very moving song that I think relates well to Tenshi's emotions when she sees Neko kissing Jasper and assumes that Neko has made her choice, & that it's not Tenshi. Poor Tenshi has been through so much in the past few months and cannot imagine, not only not dating Neko (again), but seeing her involved with Jasper. Thus she rejects Neko's offer to be in her company the next day with bitterness. |

"Just Shut Up and Kiss Me!" - Despite Tenshi's resolve not to see Neko, Neko makes her way back into the girl's life, and is overcome by her desire for Tenshi in the end. In a moment of heated passion between them as they argue over whether Neko can hang around Tenshi & over who should have kissed who when, they both end up kissing each other, neither able to deny the attraction. |

Falling Back In Love - This song is a cute, pretty song showing how Tenshi bends over backwards to try and prove her love for Neko. (It's also a pun for Tenshi at the ice skating rink). |

Regret Over Her Loss - The Wall in this song is that which keeps Neko from her memories. Up until this point she has been uncertain that she wants to reclaim those memories, but while on the beach with Tenshi she realizes that she is completely blocked off from them, and she finally feels a great sense of loss by not being able to regain them. This is another song that fits sooo perfectly within the story. |

Completing the Ritual - A beautiful song, beginning with what sounds like a prayer before going into the real lyrics. Although it fits well for the ritual itself, it also speaks to the entire quest for Neko's memories, mentioning things relating to her search through mountains and forest, ice and fire. Finally, she searches for herself in the sea, guided by Tenshi's love, and ends up returning to the ritual and finally completing it. I can hear the last verse and chorus as Neko's soul crying out to her. I could go line by line for this song matching with the quest and its fulfillment. |

Aftermath - I envisioned this song behind the scene where Neko wakes up in Tenshi's arms on the beach, but it really covers hers & Tenshi's feelings for the rest of the story, regarding each other, as they discover Neko's memories are back, face telling Haruka & Michiru about the engagement, & celebrate. In my mind, the first verse is Tenshi's and the 2nd is Neko's. |

Reclaiming Neko/Memory Closing Theme - Just a fun, happy song about the inability to escape love & how it fills the emptiness inside, since Neko fought so hard against loving Tenshi, but still ended up choosing her anyway. |
