Haruka rolled her eyes as Tenshi passed her in the kitchen on her way out. Knowing full well that Tenshi was going to see Neko, just like always, she still felt the need to ask.
"So Tenshi, where are you going?" she inquired of her eldest daughter as she took a sip of her tea.
"Koneko and I going to the movies. We're going to see� nani?" Haruka struggled to keep from spitting out her tea. Tenshi raised her eyebrows at Haruka's shocked expression.
"Tenshi, what did you just say?" Haruka hoped that she had just misheard what she was certain Tenshi had said.
"'We're going to see-'"
"No the other part," Haruka objected as Michiru came in and joined them.
"What's up?" she asked as she poured herself some tea. Haruka held up a finger, indicating that she'd get to her in a second.
"We're� going to the movies?" Tenshi answered slowly, unsure of what her okaa-san wanted.
"Who?"
"Me and Koneko."
Michiru giggled. Haruka shot her a look as she said, "Have fun!"
Tenshi looked back and forth between her okaa-san, but Haruka didn't say anything for a while, so she shrugged and left.
Michiru watched Tenshi leave and then looked back at her wife, who was glaring at her. "It's kawaii," she said, as if that excused everything.
"Michiru! They're not using honorifics!" Haruka said, truly horrified.
"They're 17 and 18! They have the right to do that." She smiled mischievously at Haruka, "Besides, we weren't using honorifics when we were only 16."
"Yeah, and do you know what we were doing?!"
"Yes, dear. I was there, remember?"
"Then� how can you be so calm?"
Michiru laughed. "Because I trust Tenshi," she answered, as if Haruka should have known the answer already.
Haruka scowled, so she continued. "Well, that, and Neko-chan's dad is Urawa Ryo-sama. And trust me, we'd be hearing from the psychic father of Neko-chan if they were doing anything that we should be worried about. So relax," she said with a wink, "because we know we can trust them."
