Although she hadn't responded, Puroko could tell Tenshi had heard her because she became perceptibly quieter. "Tenshi," she sniffed, "what's wrong with you?"
Tenshi only responded with more sobbing.

"I'm worried about them," Michiru said as she got ready for bed.
"Puroko and Tenshi?" asked her wife, as she walked out of the bathroom in her robe.
Michiru nodded. "They were hardly talking at dinner. Tenshi wasn't even looking at Puroko. Do you know what happened?"
Haruka put her hands on Michiru's shoulders. "Iie. But I think Neko-chan broke up with Tenshi. That's why she's upset."
"They broke up?!" Michiru turned and looked at her wife, who nodded at her. "Demo I thought� I mean, they were so happy the other day, and-"
"You thought they would stay together forever because they were blessed," Haruka finished.
Michiru nodded sadly. "So I guess you were right, then." Haruka was confused. "If it was better in the long run for them to break up�."
"Oh, yeah. That wasn't exactly supposed to be a prediction." Haruka noticed her wife was still upset. She lifted her chin up. "Ne, Michiru, Tenshi'll be okay. She's an optimistic person, and I'm sure she'll recover quickly. She always does. And if it's for the best that they broke up, she can't stay hurt for too long, right?"
"If you say so."
"She'll be fine," Haruka reassured her. Then she smiled at her. "Or maybe they'll get back together. Maybe this was just something they're going through to make their relationship stronger. They could be back together before Odango Atama's Christmas party on Thursday."
Michiru brightened a tad. "There you go, trying to predict their future again," she teased.
"Hey, I'm allowed to be hopeful sometimes too, aren't I?"
"Oh, you're just trying to cheer me up," Michiru scolded her.
"Did it work?"
Michiru nodded. She smiled mischievously as she glanced at the bed, "Though, you know what would really cheer me up�"
