Tenshi came galloping down the stairs. Her parents looked at her. "Koneko-chan's outside," she explained. "We're going out somewhere."
Haruka raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah, we've been trying this new thing where we actually go out on a normal date, without getting attacked or anything. You should try it. It does wonders for your social life."
Michiru giggled. "Have fun!"
"Thanks!" And Tenshi was out the door.
Haruka looked to the sky. "That's not exactly what that blessing was for," she pointed out.
Let everything turn out okay while they are together.
"But if one of them falls for the other, it naturally follows that they would fall truly in love forever. Otherwise, one or the other would be hurt, ne?"
Haruka frowned. "Unless it'd be better in the long run that they break up."
"Sacrifice a little happiness now, for a better future?" Michiru asked Haruka unhappily. She nodded. "That's not very romantic," complained Michiru.
Haruka leaned closer to her wife and looked her deep in the eyes. "No, it's more so. They'll just have to depend on their hearts to find their own blessings."
