Ryo walked out into the waiting room where his and Ami's friends were waiting. He looked around the room. There was the bouquet for Ami on the table. His daughters were sleeping on the laps of Michiru and Haruka. Tenshi was playing quietly by herself at the feet of her mothers. The rest of the girls were talking amongst themselves, and Endymion was reading a book near Neo-Queen Serenity.
He had to hand it to them, especially Haruka. Everything looked in order.
Of course, he had known as soon as the twins entered the hospital, that they were not going to sit quietly in the waiting room. That's why he had asked Haruka to watch them. Nobody else could chase both Neko and Mi-chan at the same time and actually catch them.
He decided not to point out to Haruka that instead of yellow roses, his original bouquet had had purple ones. It wasn't important. And she'd gone through enough.

Mi-chan was excited. She was finally going to get to meet her little brother, Gebriel. She had been waiting forever for this.
Her mama was lying in the hospital bed holding him. Mi-chan was disappointed that she couldn't see very well. "Papa, I can't see."
Ryo picked up Mi-chan and Neko, so that they could see the little bundle Ami was holding.
Mi-chan was amazed. He was so tiny. "Chibi," she whispered.
Ami beamed. "Yeah, he is."
"Can I hold him?" Mi-chan asked, her violet eyes sparkling.
"Yeah?" Neko thought it was a great idea.
Ryo laughed. "Maybe when we get home, and you're sitting down."
"'Kay," Mi-chan accepted this. She held out her last rose to Ami. "Mama, I wanna give him this, okay?" Ami nodded and took it.
Mi-chan leaned towards Gebriel. "I'm gonna be your big sister," she whispered. "Congwatuwations."
