"Oh, Tenshi-kun!" Neko cried as she hugged her girlfriend, relieved she at least wasn't mad at her. After all, it had been Neko who had initiated that fiery incident.
"You're so kawaii," Tenshi laughed, quick to add, "�cute like my beautiful, sweet girlfriend who worries too much. I think we look good enough to pass Haruka-papa's inspection. Come on, let's go get some of that chocolate cake!"

Neko's cheeks were flushed the whole evening, and even after the brisk ride back home, she was finding it hard to cool her face down. She just knew that Haruka could tell what she and Tenshi had been doing upstairs.
And when she walked into the house and ran into her father, she knew he knew as well. His displeased expression told her only too well that she was in trouble.
"Papa�," she whispered, preparing herself from the wrath she expected from him.
"Would you like to explain just what you were doing Sunday night?"
She froze. It was even worse than she thought. With Tenshi's promises that their actions were pure innocent passion, she had been prepared to defend their actions, but not for Sunday night. That was inexcusable.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she broke down crying. She seldom misbehaved and never without Mi-chan. Now that she was faced with her crime, she felt even guiltier than the night that she had accidentally committed it. "I fell asleep. And Tenshi-kun did too. We were watching a movie, and�. Nothing happened, and- We should've stayed awake- I should have come home when I got tired�. I'm sorry!"
Ryo began to relax. Her thoughts were much clearer than her cries, and he realized he had nothing to worry about. Chibi had assumed that Tenshi and Neko had chosen to stay together all night, and of course, with that assumption was one along a more naughty line. But that was Chibi. Still Ryo had been worried, and with Neko's guilty thoughts about what had happened tonight, Ryo wanted to make sure that his daughter hadn't given into the seductive charms of Tenoh Tenshi yet.
But Neko's remorse now was merely for breaking her curfew and staying over at Tenshi's. He knew she felt guilty for the suspicious location, but he also could see quite clearly that nothing had happened between the two. It had been an honest mistake. And yet she had hidden it from him and had roped Chibi into keeping the truth a secret as well.
"Neko, I believe you." She sobbed with relief and hugged him, and he almost felt sorry for what he had to say next. "But you did break the rules, no matter how innocently, and what's worse, you bribed your brother to help you hide it. I'm sorry, but you'll still be punished. I grounded Gebriel for two days, starting tomorrow." Chibi had put up such a fuss about Neko not being grounded yet this afternoon because she had gotten ahold of Ami rather than Ryo, that Ryo finally relented and let him go free, letting him know that he'd still get two full days. "You'll get three, okay?"
"Okay," Neko whispered.
"Alright, go up and get ready for bed," he said with a hug before sending her on her way.

"Jaspy," Amethyst whispered as she joined her lover in bed. "Carni agreed to let us have tomorrow off."
"Did she?" He raised his eyebrows at her. "Well, that was surprisingly nice."
"Behave," she teased him. "Now, what should we do on our day off?"
"Hmm, I can think of a few things. How about if we start celebrating tonight?" He finished off the suggestion with a passionate kiss.
Amethyst smiled playfully. It was so rare that Jasper took the initiative, and she wanted to show her appreciation for his enthusiasm. "Alright. We'll start now, and then I'll send you a few blissful dreams about some other enjoyable things we can do tomorrow. You know, to spice things up a little."
