*What do I do?! If I choose Mi-chan, I'm condemning Tenshi-kun to death. But I can't let Mi-chan die either.* She looked back and forth between them, agonizing over what she knew would happen no matter which she chose.
Suddenly, Mi-chan seemed to stumble. As she caught her balance, Tenshi came at her with what could only be a final blow. In that second, Neko made her unconscious choice. "Mi-chan, watch out!"
If Mi-chan and Tenshi hadn't heard her before, they heard that. Tenshi, surprised by the yell, hesitated in her attack, which Mi-chan countered. She plunged her sword through Tenshi's heart.
"No!" Neko screamed as she fell to her knees. Yet she found she couldn't take her eyes off the horrible scene, as Mi-chan's sword tore Tenshi to shreds.
