"I- Is the dance over? What happened?"
She saw Neko-chan and Tenshi-kun, who were sitting next to each other on a bed near hers look at each other.
"Mi-chan, don't you remember what happened?"
Mi-chan was still groggy. She tried to remember it, but the whole night was kinda a blur. "I was dancing with Jian-kun�." She realized that he was there next to her bed, looking slightly uncomfortable. "Jian-kun?"
She finally woke up enough to get suspicious. This looked an awful lot like a hospital. She considered bolting for it, but she hurt too much to hardly even sit up.
"Am I in the hospital?! What happened?"
Neko-chan looked her straight in the eyes and said, "We were attacked by yoma at the dance. You were knocked unconscious and managed to cut your wrist, silly girl. Don't you remember?"
"No�." Suddenly it dawned on her that Neko-chan didn't seem to mind talking about yoma in front of the boys. "Do they know about-?"
"Hai, my Tenshi-kun here is a Knight." Mi-chan saw a shadow pass over her face, but it quickly passed. *What was that about?* "And Jian-kun� Jian-kun happened to see me transform and he, uh, stuck around to help you. You really don't remember anything about it?"
Mi-chan shook her head. "Oh well, as long as I had fun before that. So what should we do for our next date, Jian-kun?"
She realized that if possible, he looked even more uncomfortable than before. She was going to ask about it, but at that moment, Ami walked in with two bowls in her hand. "Oh, good you're all awake. I brought you something to eat."
Mi-chan groaned, knowing it was jello. She was right.
"Here's some red for you and some green for you, Mi-chan. I know how you hate the red stuff."
Green jello? At the hospital? She got suspicious again. "Kami-sama! What? Did I almost die or something?"
Notes and stuff:
Yay! Happy ending (or at least blissful ignorance) for everyone, except maybe Neko who's confused, but that's ok because she's my character, as is Tenshi, who's probably a little confused too.
Heather wants Mi-chan to remember eventually, but that's up to what happens in the game (for us) or the reader's own preferences (for you). Personally, I liked the idea of Neko, Tenshi, and Jian-wa having to deal with it and with her not knowing what's going on (she is Mi-chan). Besides, between being knocked out and the traumatic experience of having her boyfriend being evil and attacking her, it would make sense that one way or another she would get a little amnesia about it. Pobrecita.
Shayera says I can use the story in the game! Yay! I'm glad because I really liked the Neko-Tenshi relationship and I didn't want to pretend like it was just all a dream. Yippee!
