Eryx had wanted to believe that Tenshi would be able to hold her own against Jian-kun. But it was obvious that the girl was fighting a losing battle. Eryx knew what she had to do.
"Onegai, don't kill them," she prayed, and then attacked. "Celestial Force!"
She succeeded in breaking them apart, but the attack had hit both of them. "Gomen nasai, Tenshi-kun," she whispered.
She took the opportunity to concentrate on contacting Mi-chan/Electra while Jian-kun was down. Directly communicating in this way required some concentration normally, but now she needed to focus all her attention on her sister. Finally, she thought she might have gotten through to her.
*Onegai, Mi-chan! I need yours and the others' help.* She realized that if Chibi came and used his ofuda on Jian-kun, he might be able to free him of the evil that possessed him. *If you are busy, onegai send Chibi. Otherwise, Jian-kun will-* Her message was interrupted as Jian-kun yelled, "Die!" and sent a blast of energy her way. She didn't have time to dodge, she closed her eyes and waited for it to hit.

Electra had finally heard from Eryx, though it was a very weak connection. She was relieved to hear she was ok, but disturbed by the message.
*She's in trouble. Jian-kun too!* Send Chibi?! She didn't think so.
She could now tell where Eryx was and she was going to help them� er, once she finished beating up the drum yoma.

She heard something swish through the air, but the attack never came. Eryx opened her eyes and saw a single blue rose, stem embedded in the ground in the path of the previous attack.
"Nani?"
She looked up to see Tenshi now dressed in a silvery blue ninja outfit covering almost everything but her eyes. Tenshi was now a Knight and looked very confused.

Tenshi was quite confused. One second she was fighting Jian-wa, and then she had been hit by some force that had thrown her into the wall. Within a few seconds, before she even knew what she was doing, she had thrown a rose that had magically appeared in her hands and actually succeeded in stopping Jian-wa's attack.
Still a little dazed from hitting her head on the wall, she looked down and realized that somehow she had managed to transform into a ninja's outfit. Also she seemed to suddenly be a guy.
*Huh?*
She (um, well, "he" actually) couldn't stop her/himself. She/he suddenly had the overwhelming urge to make a monologue. She/he fought it and lost.
"A romantic evening should not be interrupted�."

Eryx shook her head in disbelief. She ignored the entire monologue and considered what to do next (for some reason, no one ever seemed to feel like actually acting during a monologue).

As the other Senshi battled the four remaining yoma (the drum yoma had recently bit the dust), Sailor Electra ran over to the room that she had seen Neko-chan and Tenshi-kun disappear into. She was about 5 feet from the door when she hit a force field of some kind. *This is why I can't get through to Eryx.*

Night Angel (as he had recently found out his name was) had finally finished his monologue. He was glad and resolved never to do it again no matter how much the Knight in him forced him to.
Jian-kun sneered at him. "This doesn't change anything. You both will die tonight, as will all your siblings." He sent off a sphere of energy at each of them, each attack hitting its mark.
Night Angel looked at Sailor Eryx. She wouldn't be able to stand another attack, he thought. Even now she was having trouble getting back up. But he admired her courage for trying. He ran over to help her
"Eryx, you need to rejuvenate."
"I don't think he's going to give me the chance."
"Then, onegai. Allow me to handle him for awhile. You can't take another hit and if you won't fight him�."
She wasn't paying attention. She was staring at Jian-kun with a look of determination on her face. "Makinai," she whispered.

She considered the force field. She had no idea what to do about it. At times like this she needed to call on�.
"Chibi! There's a force field here. How do I break through?"
He looked around the room and suggested, "Get the synthesizer to break it down," and resumed fighting.

Eryx ignored Night Angel's objections and faced Jian-kun.
"Jian-kun," she pleaded with him, "you've got to listen to me. The Sailor Scouts never hurt your family."
"LIAR!" He threw a sphere at her, but it missed. She held her ground.
"Whoever told you such things was the liar, not me. Safiiru and Petz chose to reject Wiseman because he was evil. He killed Safiiru, not the Sailor Scouts! You've got to believe me!"
"NO!" He sent another one and this one hit her, the force knocking her into the wall and taking most of her remaining strength.

Neko-chan (as she had untransformed) lay on the floor as if dead. Night Angel ran to her and found that she was still conscious, though weak and quickly reaching a point of unconsciousness.
She looked him deep in the eyes. "Tenshi-kun?" she asked weakly.
"Hai, Koneko-chan." His eyes filled with tears.
"Suki� da yo�." She closed her eyes, but Night Angel could tell she was still alive, merely unconscious.
