Part 4, Page 3
Mi-chan thought about it for a second.  She usually didn't hang on to one guy for long.  And there was a part of her that was still interested in Isaac-kun.  But she liked Jian-kun a lot more than most guys for some reason.  Especially now that he wasn't quite as confused and was willing to flirt back.  He was nice, cute, smart, and athletic.  AND he interacted well with her family, even Chibi.
And of course, there was the added bonus of possibly making Neko-chan jealous.  *Although she's got that new guy now.* Mi-chan had been watching from the upstairs window, but all she could see was a blond guy in a tux.  He didn't look like anyone she knew though.  *I don't understand why Neko-chan's being all secretive.  Maybe, he's not as good-looking as she claimed or something.* For the briefest moment Mi-chan considered the possibility that Neko-chan was worried that Mi-chan would steal her guy.  But that was absurd, why would she think that?
She forced her thoughts back to the question at hand.  Was Jian-kun her boyfriend?  Was she willing to be that involved with a guy?  She looked at him.  Hai, she thought she was.
     "Hai, Jian-kun, you are."

Neko was highly amused, but a little worried.  Of all the restaurants in Crystal Tokyo, Tenshi had taken her to the Yacht Club.
"Reservations for Tenoh," Tenshi said, as Neko tried to hide her face from the matre d'.  She didn't trust him to know the difference between her and Mi-chan, and she really didn't want him to remember Mi-chan.
     "Of course.  Right this way."
Neko grabbed Tenshi's arm on the other side of where the matre d' was and, with her head still down, let Tenshi lead her to the table.
Thankfully, the matre d' left as Tenshi pulled out Neko's chair.
"What was that about?" Tenshi asked.
Neko sat down, but didn't answer or uncover her face until the matre d' had brought the menus and told them that a waiter would come to serve them soon.
Only after he had left the second time, did she look up.
     "Oh, Tenshi-kun!"
They were sitting at the table with the best view that the restaurant had to offer.
     "It's so beautiful!"
"Yeah, the view's not bad from here either."  Neko pried her eyes away from the window to look at Tenshi, who was sitting there resting her chin on her folded hands, gazing only at Neko.
     "Ah, cut it out."
"Why should I?" Tenshi asked smiling.
"Because I'm going to spend the whole night blushing, if you don't."
"Well, that's not so bad.  I already told you red's a good color for you."  Then she said more quietly, "Besides, if hearing about how beautiful you are is still making you blush, then people aren't telling you it enough.  And I intend to rectify that situation."
"It's not a matter of being told so.  It's a matter of who's saying it."
"Well, in that case, I shall have to double my efforts, ne?"  Tenshi reached across the table and took Neko's hands in hers.  Neko was already blushing before she even started, but that didn't stop her.  "Neko-chan, you are one of the most kirei women I've ever set my eyes upon.  I cannot believe how lucky I am that someone as beautiful as you would want to go out with me."
Neko wanted to protest, wanted to explain just how beautiful she found Tenshi, how she had thought that Tenshi really was an angel, how she had been charmed from the moment she had seen her, but the words just wouldn't come.  On top of that, she could feel tears well up in her eyes.  She knew that if she spoke now, she wouldn't be able to keep them from being released.
Naturally, it was at this time that the waiter came with their drinks.  Both of them jumped when the waiter put down their drinks.  "Are the gentleman and lady ready to order?" he asked.
They both glanced guiltily at their unopened menus.
Tenshi recovered first.  "Ano, we'd like a few more minutes, onegai. "
     "As sir wishes."
The waiter left, and Neko giggled.
     "Nani?"
"A couple things," she said slyly.  "First of all, it's amusing that he thinks you're a guy."  Tenshi shrugged.  "Furthermore, these straws don't have wrappers on them."
     "And that's funny because?"
"Uh, I think it's best if we at least look at the menus before I start in on that story."

Some rice, sushi, and a shared piece of mud pie (they couldn't resist) later, Neko had finally told her about the disastrous events that took place the last time she had been to the Yacht Club.
"No wonder you were hiding from the matre d'."
"Yeah, well, between the straw wrappers, the wrestling, and Chibi speaking 'sailor talk' to the matre d', I didn't want him to even associate me with the group."
"So they threw out Mi-chan and Chibi, but left you and Kou-san?  Now, Kou-san's that new Starlight, right?"  So she did know about the new Senshi and stuff.
"Hai.  We had moved to another table because we still wanted to see if we could get info about what was happening out on the docks."
     "
Sou ka...."
"Tenshi-kun," she teased, "you're not going to turn all Haruka-sama on me now and be jealous of Kou-kun.  Please, it was half a glass of tea, and furthermore, it's Kou-kun.  Not to mention that I hadn't even met you.  And it's Kou-kun!"  She rolled her eyes.
     Tenshi couldn't help but laugh.
