Haruka was kneeling by the bed next to her daughter, resting her chin in her hands as she lazily gazed around the room.  Tenshi tried to include her, but Haruka just didnt care.  She was only here to witness that Tenshi had actually taken the time to look at everything.  Which she had.  Suddenly, Tenshi realized that Haruka could probably go at any time, and probably should, since Tenshi had all but forgotten her lover was locked in the bathroom.
She was about to suggest as much, when suddenly Haruka stood up and started towards the other side of the room.  Ano, wait!  Tenshi jumped to her feet.  Where are you going?
The bathroom, Haruka said, pointing to her goal.
Dame!  Tenshi lunged across the room, grabbing Haruka by the arm and pulling in the other direction.  When Haruka gave her that surprised and suspicious look she did so well, Tenshi could only say, feebly, Its broken.
Oh.  Well, Ill fix it, Haruka said determinedly.
Not the toilet! Tenshi cried, frantically.  The door.  I locked myself out, and Im going to call the manager tomorrow, but its too late tonight, and I was just planning on using the community toilet downstairs.  Her words came out rushed and desperate, praying that Haruka wouldnt just decide to fix that too.  Tenshi could almost picture Haruka shoving the door in, destroying the lock, and bursting in on poor Neko.  Onegai, Haruka-papa, its just for the one night.  I dont want you busting my lock for that.  Onegai, just go downstairs and then.  She stopped, then smiled warmly at Haruka, as if she was doing her a favor.  Then you can go tell Michiru-mama that Ill call her with a decision tomorrow.  Sorry I made you hang around this long.
Tenshi calmed down as Haruka relaxed her pull on her arm.  Well, when you put it that way, Haruka replied, smiling back at her.  Tenshi let go, and Haruka headed out the door.  Thanks for saving me from an earful from Michiru.  Night, Tenshi.
Good night, Haruka-papa, Tenshi said, relieved that they managed to escape that one.  That was until Harukas next words.
     Night, Neko-chan!
Neko unlocked the bathroom door and peered out around it, timidly.  Good night, Tenoh-sama, she answered quietly.
Haruka gave a friendly wave, but neither Neko nor Tenshi dared breathe until she had left the apartment.  Only then did Tenshi realize that Neko was shivering.  Ne, Koneko, gomen nasai.
Neko ran to Tenshi, who immediately warmed her in her embrace, but Neko had a few thoughts on the ordeal.  You left me there, scared to death you had been injured, then worrying about Haruka-sama and freezing cold for almost half an hour, she cried angrily.
     I know, demo, Koneko
And you were just sitting here talking about dresses.
Tenshi glanced guiltily at the pile on her bed.  She still wanted to look through them before she went to sleep, but now was not the time to say so.  Yeah, demo
You didnt even have the decency to send me a mental note that you were okay!
Shhhh, its okay, alright?  Realizing that it was Nekos initial fear for her that had spawned all the other complaints, Tenshi didnt bother voicing the buried thought she had that Neko could just as easily checked with her mentally.  And now Haruka-papa knows, and shes not mad at all, so we can relax, right?
Neko nodded and settled against Tenshis body, her trembling finally calmed by her lovers embrace.
See, Haruka-papa isnt as scary as you thought she was, after all.
Hai, Neko consented softly.  Only a tiny bit scarier than a burglar.
