| Well, where do I begin......Ben has been such a pleasure from the start. We adopted him in August 2001. He was almost 4 months old. He's 1/2 Percheron, 1/4 Belgian and 1/4 Thoroughbred. We plan on riding him as well as break him to harness. We've worked with him some but not as much as we'd like. One of the funniest things that happened was when we put his bridle on him that goes with his harness. To start off with the blinders layed down too much and almost covered his eyes and bless his heart he never once tried to get this thing off........LOL. The funny part was when he walked around he seemed to be disoriented and walked around like he was drunk....you just had to be there. He has such a good temperment. I don't care what we do to him or with him he takes it all in stride. We could not have asked for a better horse. I truly believe that he was meant to be OUR horse. I cannot imagine life without him. Adopting him was one of the greatest things we ever did. |
