FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOALS It is very important to start foals on feed carefully and at an early age. Foals should have access to Grow-N-Glow Foal & Horse Pellets by about 10 days of age, while they are still nursing. Start by offering 4 oz. (1 scoop)* of fresh Grow-N-Glow Foal & Horse Pellets, mix or top-dress with dry feed, and gradually increase the amount offered until the foal is consuming 1.5 - 2 lbs per day at seven to eight weeks of age. Continue feeding Grow-N-Glow Foal & Horse Pellets as part of the creep feed prior to weaning and as part of the complete ration during weaning. Due to the essential nutrients needed during the first 24 months of life, we recommend top-dressing 1.5 - 4 lbs of Grow-N-Glow Foal & Horse Pellets per day with the grain ration during this critical development period. Do not feed more than 2 lbs. of this product per 1000 lbs. of body weight per day.
