Description: An evil spirit locked away for a loooong time, Ghadius woke up and wanted nothing but revenge against the world that had abandon him. So he decided to erase the world, which consisted of dreams, and remake it as a world consisting of nightmares. Not the smartest plan, for it would have erased him as well, but he still was going through with it. All he had to do was keep hold of Lephise and take care of one little problem: Klonoa. And he couldn't even do that. So Klonoa defeated him, but not before Ghadius partially corrupted the world with nightmare Nahatomb. What a bad guy.

Description: A loyal servant to Ghadius, he wanted nothing more then to please his master. But to please him, Joka would have had to defeat Klonoa, which no one has, thus the Klonoa series is still going. But he still tried! A little clutsy, Joka stumbled around a lot after being defeated. And he liked to flaunt a lot, taunting Klonoa more often then not, thinking that everything he did was sure to succeed. Poor fella! Oh well, even though he lost, we still love his shoes, right?

Description: A 'lump of pure sorrow', this lonely king wanted to punish Klonoa, who was not from Lunatea, for the bad things the people of Lunatea had done! Sheesh! His sadness comes from the fact that everyone wants nothing to do with sorrow, thus he has no place in the world. He simply wanted the people of Lunatea to remember the sorrow, and not hide from him. He eventually gets his wish, as Klonoa promises that the world wouldn't forget sorrow any longer. So he turns out to be not such a villian after all.

Description: The insomnia-plagued emperor, Jillius was jealous of his people because they were allowed to dream, and he not, so he banned their right to dream. Well, his people got mad at him for this, of course, because they wanted to dream anyway! Then Klonoa comes along, fights through the monsters in Jillius' nightmares, then brings the Emperor back to reality. Jillius then realizes that he has to protect his people's dreams, and gives them the right to dream back. Funny, this is the only villian actually to survive a game! Wow, Klonoa spared the man who sentenced him to death.

Description: Jillius' closest advisor, Bagoo turns out to be a monster that only wants to stop people from dreaming because he thinks it's a waste of time. He calls himself the King of Despair, ruler over the kingdom of stolen dreams. And he wants to turn Klonoa, as well as every other dreamer, into a monster, oh no! Well, Klonoa defeats him, so he doesn't get away with it. Of course not! This IS Klonoa these silly people try to face off against. Like they have a chance....
