Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
Story
The dark spirit Ghadius, after being banished to sleep for 3,000 years, wakes up and seeks revenge against those who banished him. To do so, he plans on changing the world from a dream to a nightmare by capturing the diva Lephise and using her, as well as the Moon Kingdom, to complete his task. Only one problem; the nightmare Nahatomb can't overcome the world due to a single glitch: Klonoa.
A 3D world with 2D action! Add to that a large assortment of characters, idiotic villians, an intriuging story, as well as fluid cinemas, what do you get? You guessed it, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile!
Klonoa and his pal, Huepow, must stop the evil Ghadius before the world is overcome by nightmares! Traveling through each of the four kingdoms, the duo must learn the secret behind the fifth kingdom, Cress, and discover how to stop Ghadius before anything dreadfully wrong happens to Phantomile. But lies and deceit are amiss, and trouble is around every corner. So, the hero and friend must turn to numerous other characters for help! All in a day's work, of course.
Note: If you rescue all 72 Phantomilians, you will recieve an extra level, Balue's tower. Beat this, and you will recieve a music test option.
Hint: If you are really dying on a level, get stuck and have nothing else to do: Go to start menu and Retry. Also, if you're really bored, you can go to the title screen and blow around the leaves by using the R and L buttons. And if you are REALLY bored, you can watch a fireworks show by sitting on the vision select screen for a few moments without doing anything.
Ending:
Klonoa and Huepow defeat Nahatomb, Klonoa using Huepow as a weapon on a wind bullet to get inside and defeat him internally. Huepow managed to make it out in one piece, and he and Klonoa return to Breezegale, everything looking terribly dead. Huepow tells Klonoa that he was the strange dream standing in Ghadius' way, and that he doesn't really exist in the world they are in now. Klonoa doesn't believe him. Huepow continues to say how all of Klonoa's memories were fake, put there by he, himself, to make Klonoa think he was fighting for his own world. Huepow tells him that when Lephise sings the Song of Rebirth, Klonoa will be taken back to his own world. Klonoa obviously doesn't want to, for he throws a fit, claiming that Huepow is lying. Lephise sings, and a funnel sweeps Klonoa back, pulling him up off the ground. Huepow suddenly looks truely upset, snatching hold of the ring to prevent Klonoa from flying into the sky. He holds on for a few moments, but loses his grip, and he watches as Klonoa is hurled into the sky, through the funnel. He's gone. Huepow cries over it until Lephise's song revives the world, and then he looks happily at the sky.
