Today's news
The order may change from day to day but the content is always trivial.
  • The weather, the train / plane crash, or some other piece of obfuscation.
  • Socialist Party R proposed "{some giveaway of $}" with these one or two minor details. Socialist Party D responded that the proposal is ideologically based and benefits the rich over the poor, endanger Social Security and Medicare and grow the deficit. And because they are evil.
  • Socialist Party D proposed "{some giveaway of $}" with these one or two minor details. Socialist Party R responded that the proposal will increase the size of an already oppressive government, increase taxes on the working people and will continue to grow out of control. And because they are evil.
  • The celebrity trial of the century, or the week.
  • Business. The Dow Jones Industrial average changed by some percentage.
    And it was attributed to:
    • a government report
    • a statement by the current Fed chairman
    • some military action some where (the brokers watched television so were not paying attention to their job)
    • an election some where
    • a scandal some where
    • or analysts predictions were off. Either High or Low does not seem to matter much.

  • If there was actually a storm then the weather will displace the foo foo environmental story rather than actually trying to clean up the mess we make.
