Finger puppets made from tissue rolls Animal Puppets Materials-- Toilet tissue rolls Fake fur about 4" x 6" Pom-poms Wiggle eyes Glue Scissors Rubber bands Decide what kind of animal you are making and select fur, pom-poms and trim in the colors you wish to use. Cut a triangle from each side of the tissue roll to form your animal's mouth. Spread glue around all 4 edges of the fake fur. Wrap the fur around the outside of the tissue roll. Use the rubber bands to hold the fur in place while the glue dries. You may need to apply glue along the edges of the mouth cut to hold the fur in place. Cut out a triangle of fur to form the mouth. Trim the fur even with the cardboard. Add ears of felt, feet of pom-poms or pipe cleaners and add wiggle eyes. Glue features in place. Allow the glue to dry throughly before using your puppet.
