A Family of Finger Puppets

Materials

  • Construction paper or craft foam or lightweight cardboard
  • Construction paper or craft foam for clothing and trim
  • Glue
  • Scissors Additional materials such as feathers, sequins, glitter, pompoms, etc for trim

    1. Cut body from desired color construction paper or craft foam. This is also a great way to use old manila file folders. Be sure and cut the notches in the tab so that they will fit together.

    2. Cut face from paper or foam and glue to puppet head.

    3. Cut out clothing from colored paper and glue in place or Color clothing right on body.

    4. Color hair, cut from colored paper or foam or make 3D hair from yarn, pompoms, or feathers.
