Remembrances
that always stay
Memories will make their
way
Seeking joy within these
times
Brings the heart to love
that binds
Family gathered
everywhere
Doing chores so unaware
What one day will come
again
Pleasant thoughts around
the bend
Horses galloping through
the time
Fields are filled with
hay they find
Sound of iron fire's
glow
Bending horseshoe as
they go
Friends with nothing
much to do
Stopping by with news
for you
Slow this time within
the past
Smile with pleasant
memories last
Fields of children on
the run
Having fun when chores
are done
Wholesome place will
always be
Land that flows with
harmony
Hear the sounds within
this life
Eases burdens and the
strife
Sun goes down as bell
will chime
Dinner served and right
on time.
