There are two basic types of female channeler. The first are those who are born with the spark and will begin to channel on their own whether they wish it or not. This is the much smaller percentage. The vast majority are those who have the ability to learn, but will never channel without being taught. Because of the rarity of sparked channelers in the series, it is more difficult to get an application approved for a sparked character.

If you chose sparked, then the character is a wilder and has a block. In order for the background to be approved, you must have this block clearly defined. You must also have OOCly planned out a method for breaking this block. If you are unsure what a block is or how breaking blocks work, it is suggested that you choose a teachable channeler. If you still wish to play a wilder, please describe the block and the plans for breaking it in the box below.
Block:
There are two main ways a woman may join the Tower Aes Sedai. The first is by coming to Tar Valon to seek the training. Many come to Tar Valon to learn. For noble Houses of Andor, it is even tradition. Those who choose this method of joining the guild will need to be interviewed by a Guildleader. If the interview is satisfactory, then the GL will arrange for RP with the Mistress of Novices if possible or arrange to have that RP included as part of the character's background, if not. The character will then be guilded as a Novice.
The second method of entering the Tower Aes Sedai is by having an Aes Sedai of the Tower discover the character's ability to channel. She would then invite the character to come to Tar Valon, and either bring the girl herself or arrange for transportation. After this RP is complete, the character will be guilded.

What advantages, merits or strengths does this character possess? What are her weak points? Is she determined and brave, yet about as smart as a brick? Is she a mental giant, yet clumsy as an ox? These are the things that will lend depth to the character and make her come to life. There is no specific limit to how many strengths and weaknesses a character may have, just remember to balance each advantage with a disadvantage of comparable magnitude.

If the character has any attributes or abilities that would be considered unusual, she should include them in the box below. This includes such oddities as being a very tall Cairhienin, an Aiel raised in the wetlands, a pale skinned sea folk or any training or experiences in the character's background that involves other guilds. For example, if the character is orphaned because her parents were killed by Whitecloaks, that would need to be noted so that the White Tower GL can get the background authorized by the whitecloak GL. Other examples would be things such as being raised by a gleeman who taught the character to juggle or anything involving encounters with creatures or agents of the Shadow.
