Lewellyn glides lightly up to the doorway under the watchful eyes of the various Maidens that stand outside the door, big, dark eyes drawn and almost haggard, his face a mask of wrath as he moves lightly atop the balls of his feet. For a moment, he pauses, his fist uplifted as if he were about to strike down hard upon the doorway, but instead he simply wraps his knuckles upon the oaken doorway.
Drawing in Saidin, Rand snaps threads of Air angrily, like a striking viper, to snatch the doorknob and fling the door open. He catches it just shy of it slamming into the wall and holds it steady. With the menacing aura rolling off him in waves, he says coldly,'Come in.'
Lewellyn's hand drops to his side as he glides in through the doorway, stepping into the room and moving to stand before you and desk. Calloused hands move behind him to cup together as he stands there facing you head on, an almost expectant look slipping to his angular features, the wrath seemingly having slipped from his face. Big, dark eyes are upon you, a certain haggardness to them as he regards you. "Soldier Lewellyn to report, My Lord Dragon.", he says softly, his voice toneless.
Rand's jaw flexes as he clenches his teeth. Slowly, he leans back in his chair, but does not seem to relax at all. His grey eyes focus on Lewellyn as his large hands settle on the edge of the desk. The aura of menace around him dissipates as he pushes Saidin away. In a voice that is cold and harsh, he snaps,'Who taught her to bond?'
Lewellyn shrugs his shoulders in the barest of gestures, an abashed look slipping to his angular features for a moment, a certain sense of surprise seeming to appear in his big, dark eyes for a moment as he continues to regard you steadily. "I am not sure, My Lord Dragon.", he says softly, tonelessly, "After.. Guarding her, on her trip to.. burn that Cabin, I took a trolloc spear, and awoke to find myself in that position.", his voice trails off. There is a certain tenseness about him, as if he were expecting some kind of physical action, but he remains standing where he is.
The muscles on the backs of Rand's hands cord up from his grip on the edge of the desk. He barks out in that cold, harsh tone that seems the norm for him lately,'She did not ask.' After a brief pause, he quirks an eyebrow up in a questioning expression and asks,'Did she?'
Lewellyn shakes his head faintly, his dark ponytail brushing over his left shoulder which with an almost casual movement he draws his left hand from behind himself and upwards to lightly brush it back over his shoulder. His left hand slips back to cup once more with his right as he straightens his big, dark eyes upon you and says softly, tonelessly, "Apparently, I was unconscious from the Trolloc spear, about to die, and that was the only way that she could 'heal' me.", his voice slips away, a look of derision appearing upon his angular features for a moment before that smooths away and the expectant look returns to his features.
Rand nods once, very slowly, the slight motion the only thing to really prove he is not made of granite. Slowly, glacially slowly, he loosens his grip on the desk and seems to relax. In a voice still cold, but slightly less harsh, he says,'The Mistress of Servants will let you know what you owe for replacing the door...' His voice trails off and he turns to gaze off towards the northeast, apparently at nothing in particular. After a moment, he looks back and snaps,'As for this troublesome girl, you have any suggestions for her punishment? Any idea if she knows how to undo it?'
Lewellyn sighs faintly for a moment, a certain heaviness seeming to descend over him and his hands moving from back around him, moving lightly to his waist as he takes a deep breath. Big, dark eyes drop to the floor for a moment then back and upwards to you as he once more regards you, that heaviness seeming to shroud of his angular features as well as his bearing and stance. "I do not want her harmed if that is what you mean...", he shrugs faintly, a bare movement of his shoulders, "I .. well. I was furious that she would do that to me, but.. I don't know what .. to do.", he seems to almost grasp for his thoughts as he speaks, stumbling over his words, "... and as to undoing it? Is that possible? If so, I doubt she knows how, she suggested learning how to pass the bond and passing me to someone else...", he shakes his head, his brows drawing together.
Rand arches his eyebrow in surprise at the last comment, likely the first emotion other than anger he has displayed in months. Then he shrugs his shoulders slightly and says with a touch of contempt in his voice,'It should be possible. Whether these so-called Aes Sedai know how is another matter, entirely.' He gestures curtly with his left hand, light glittering off the scales on the back of it at the sudden movement,'It doesn't matter.' He gives a slight, disapproving shake of his head and adds,'Passing you to someone else? Like chattel? Has she been around that Aes Sedai too much or is this just a common attitude in women?'
Lewellyn stands up again, that heaviness seeming to dwindle slightly as his big, dark eyes seem to return faintly, a bit of surprise evident within their depths. "I don't know, I didn't want any of this to happen. I just wanted to do my job and move along...", he shakes his head for a moment, "I have not spoken with any of the Aes Sedai, I do not go near them unless I must.", he shrugs once more as his voice trails away. "I do not wish to be given to some Aes Sedai, I did not want for anything like this to happen. Feeling her in the back of my head, it drives me nearly crazed...", wrath becomes visible upon his face as he speaks, his big, dark eyes now holding fury within their depths.
Rand snorts softly and shakes his head. The fingers of his right hand begin to drum on the top of the desk causing the scales on the back of that hand to glitter as if metallic. His expression becomes thoughtful, distant. After a long moment, he says,'If she cannot undo it, harming her would hardly be fitting punishment. From what little I know of it, that would be worse for you than for her.' He shakes his head and adds,'No, if she can't release you, we will do something quite different.'
Lewellyn nods his head slowly, his dark eyebrows drawing together upon his brow and the fury slowly seeming to evaporate from his angular features, his lips drawing into a flat line and his big, dark eyes seeming to lose whatever sense of fury from within their depths. He straightens to stand there, calloused hands once more moving behind his back to cup together as he regards the man speaking to him. "As you wish, my Lord Dragon.", his voice trails off with the slight hiss of a quickly exhaled breath.
Rand nods slowy, reaching up absently to tug on his left ear. After a long, thoughtful moment, he focuses in on Lewellyn again and says,'Have her sent to me. Shielded. I will take care of it.'
Lewellyn nods his head quickly and says softly, in his deep voice, "As you wish, my Lord Dragon.", lightly his calloused hands slip from behind his back as he continues to regard you with his big, dark eyes. He nods his head downwards in what could be construed as a bow before pivoting on his heel and moving away. He moves with a light, almost dangerous glide, graceful atop the balls of his feet, each of his steps fluid and nearly silent as he walks. Lightly he steps through the still-open door, past the watching Maidens and quickly seems to vanish from sight as he moves down the hallway.
