Cordell Fenevall

Description

He stands about five feet eight inches tall. His dark hair and his nails are neatly trimmed. Amber eyes peer out from an untanned face, free from blemish and smooth from youth. His clothing is all in black, trimmed in silver and fits him as only finely tailored clothing can. He wears a long hilted sword on his left hip. The scabbard is of black leather and tooled in silver. On his right ring finger he wears a silver signet ring bearing a hart. The left ring finger is adorned with a silver ring set with a sapphire so dark blue as to be almost black. His boots are black leather, highly polished and tooled in silver. Completing his outfit is a long black cape embroidered with blue and silver thread to form a waterfall that cascades down his back. He appears to be in his early twenties, too young for such obvious wealth to have been earned by him.

Background

Cordell is the eldest son of Lord Honelvid Fenevall. Fenevall is a minor branch of House Damodred of Cairhien. The main estate is in the south of Cairhien in wine country, but a manor is maintained in the City, as well, for appearances. Cordell left home approximately a year ago to visit his sister, Dierdre, who was studying at Tar Valon. Upon arriving, he discovered that she had been turned out for failing some test or other. The sisters were rather vague and he was not really listening to them that much, anyway. He continued his search for her, eventually ending up in Illian. Caught up in the energy of the crowd in the square of Tammuz, he took the Oath to hunt the Horn of Valere. He since discovered that his sister is alive and well and working at an orphanage in Caemlyn. With his father only being middle- aged, and with two younger brothers much more politically inclined, he feels no great urging to involve himself in the Great Game. Besides he has a Horn to find and a vast, interesting world to see. Not to mention a goal to personally rate the wine and service of every tavern in existance.
