Techniques-I think she's got a few, but don't know off hand what they are. She does bash holes in walls and such, and knows Xiang Fang Gao hair technique that makes people forget. She is a good martial artist and uses a pair of bonbori; they look like a ball on a stick, but are like maces.
Character Breakdown:
She's constantly trying to get Ranma by one way or another. She is constantly glomping onto him, and has no problems using mind-manipulating effects including hypnotic mushrooms, magic jewels and artifacts, memory erasure, mind control pressure points, and other such stuff. Will even put lives at stake if it gets her what she wants, and doesn't much care about anyone else that may get hurt along the way.
When she was captured by Pink and Rink and gained the upper hand, she continued the "helpless maiden" charade to get Ranma. Later, when trapped in a deadly poisonous cage with Ranma, she didn't try to escape, but instead tried to get into his pants, and in doing so put all their lives at risk from the deadly poisons. She's also helped destroy Ranma's Mother's house with Ukyo and Kodachi in pursuit of what they thought was an engagement ring; and she also attacked Ranma and Akane's wedding.
Good points? She will help out, but only if it means getting closer to Ranma, or to get revenge against someone that did something to her. She is a good fighter and has some warrior's honor, I think. Still, her simple-minded, single-minded approach to everything causes her to destroy property and hurt those around her. She does seem somewhat better in the anime, though.
I also find it curious that Shampoo should be a better fighter than she is currently. She was born and raised in a warrior's village with Cologne as a sensei. Yet, Ranma, fresh from Jusenkyo with a girl's body that he wasn't used to, and most likely tired from carrying a backpack on a long trip, was able to beat her easily (with a single kick!). Some say this was because she had been fighting all day, but if anything, I think they should have been evenly matched. Shampoo didn't look tired at all, and she is just shown to have fought one opponent before Ranma (who she took out rather easily). And then, during the contrary jewel episode, he beat her again, easily. So either Genma is a better teacher of the Art than Cologne, or Shampoo has just about reached her full potential, or she has just gotten lazy after becoming better than everyone in her age group.
As a side note, Shampoo fans berate Mousse because he glomps her, constantly spouts his love for her, stalks her, attacks his rivals for her, despite the times she has told him she's not interested. How strange, this is exactly the way Shampoo acts towards Ranma. Only one difference, Ranma's nicer; he doesn't hit her. But alas, she still doesn't understand...

Techniques: Chinese Hidden Weapons Master. Basically, he can pull anything out of his robes. From weapons like chains, claws, and swords, to the proverbial kitchen sink. Hand-to-hand abilities are okay, though Akane could probably beat him in a hand-to-hand fight. With his weapons, he's pretty deadly, and has even managed to beat Ranma a couple of times(one of the few who can).
Painyao-chuan/Hakuchou-ken "swan punch"-Moose's technique of whacking someone with a wooden swan training potty.
Chiitan-chuan/Keiran-ken "hen's egg punch"-Moose pulls out a chicken, which lays several explosive eggs, which he throws.
Dachou kyaku "ostrich leg"-Moose does a slicing vertical kick.
In-chua-chuan/Taka-zume-ken "hawk talon punch"-Moose swoops down in a stomping attack wearing shoes with hooked claws on the ends.
Character Breakdown:
Poor Mousse. That just about sums up my feelings on him. He loves and is intensly loyal to Shampoo, would do anything for her, trusts her completely, and would die before allowing her to came to harm. However, she just doesn't seem to care much about him.
His bad points are: he's narrow-minded and has a Shampoo-tunnel vision of the world. Like Ryoga, he's blames Ranma for his problems and attacks him quite frequently, sometimes using dirty tricks and cheats. He's a bit obssessive of Shampoo, always telling her he loves her and would anything for her, etc.
One of the reasons I like him, is because his character does grow, one of the four that show the most growth (Ranma, Akane, Ryoga, & Mousse, in that order). At the end, he no longer mistrusts and attacks Ranma on sight, but does tend to work with him. When Shampoo was locked in the second egg, Mousse had the perfect opportunity to make Shampoo love him forever(something Shampoo would have done if Ranma was in the egg), but he wanted Shampoo to love him of her own free will, so he gave her a mirror so she could get her own mind back. Of course, she glomped and thanked Ranma immediately afterward...
He is a better martial artist than Shampoo, so if he would bring himself to fight her(and fix his vision and tone down his advances), chances are good Shampoo would be more receptive to him. But only if it was made clear that Ranma was totally out of the picture.

Techniques: VERY skilled martial artist, fast, and knowledge of pressure points and Shiatsu techniques. Also can use herbs and has a LOT of useful knowledge and lore. Note: probably has more than these techniques.
Same-ken "Shark Fist" - With a punch, a blast of water that looks like a shark, shoots forward.
Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken "Chestnuts roastin on an open fire" - taught to Ranma, ability to punch real fast.
Bakusai Tenketsu "Breaking Point" - taught to Ryoga. breaks rocks and stuff with a touch.
Hiryuu Shoten Ha "Flying Dragon Ascension Strike" - taught to Ranma. Creates a tornado to suck up an oppenent.

Techniques: Somewhat clumsy, but not too bad. They use a few weird and mostly useless techniques, that almost seem to work, like a boombox that plays music that makes you want to dance (you can't help it).
