Northern California's KAI KLN is considered to be one of the most talented up and coming rock bands on today's music scene. Since their formation in 1990, in the suburbs of Sacramento, California, they have been on an uphill path to success. By 1991, KAI KLN began selling out clubs in and around Sacramento, San Francisco and beyond. By 1992, they were the first unsigned act in history to sell out Sacramento's Crest Theater(capacity 1,200). Since then, they have gone on to play with such bands as Nirvana, Green Day, Primus, Bad Religion, Sublime and much more. Due to KAI KLN's ever increasing cult fan base, expect to see people from all around repeatedly returning to their shows over and over again.

KAI KLN has independently released two albums to date, 1991's "Rhythm Of Strange" and 1993's "Vigoda". Partial thanks to KAI KLN artist, Ron Mandala, their trademark logos and artwork have prompted the sale of over 15,000 t-shirts, stickers, key chains, and more. All of this quite impressive for a band who has never had radio airplay or a major label deal.

KAI KLN has been doing non-faddish music for the past few grunge caked years. Their music combines element's of 70's rock with those of classic early 80's metal & hardcore, to create a sound for the 90's that is singularly their own. But don't think it is all about heavy jams and fast beats. KAI KLN's music runs the gamete of melodic ecstasy to break-neck, adrenaline rush rhythms. Unlike most hard rock bands, they also have a wild sense of humor and a penchant for interrupting their shows with reoccurring skits and wacky characters. KAI KLN is only serious about one thing, music.

After taking a year off in 1994, they kicked off 1995 by co-headlining Northern California's annual "Gathering Of The Vibes" music festival, performing to over 5,000 people. Since then, they have been writing new songs and touring non-stop to prepare for the release of their long awaited new album. During the Summer of 1996, KAI KLN entered the West Coast's famed Coast Recorders with a name producer to begin recording.

The new album, entitled "The Matter Of Things," will finally be released in January 1997. Following up the new release, will be a national tour along with massive radio and press promotion. KAI KLN's commercial elements, superb song writing and musical integrity make them a band to watch out for as they push their trend setting style to the forefront of popular music.
