MTR-5H Meteor
The MTR-5H is not well liked by most contemporary �Mech warriors. The Meteor was originally designed with the 'death from above' combat tactic in mind. But this was in the days prior to the Succession Wars when �Mechs were not quite so hard to come by and certainly not as valuable as they are now. The 'death from above' tactic damages not only the target �Mech but the attacking �Mech as well so it is a sort of pyrrhic offensive. Some MechWarriors have found innumerable uses for the large, jumping �Mech, but the �Mech remains little known today as most of them that appear are scrapped to supply armor and armament for more "useful" �Mechs.
