Tuttosport 18/11/98
Yesterday, Luciano Moggi, Sergio Cragnotti (Lazio owner), and Vinicio
Fioranelli (agent), met in a private meeting room at the Hotel Majestic in
Rome.
Fioranelli is Kennet Andersson's agent, so Tuttosport's guess is that the
trio talked about the Swede. Bologna might be willing to sell him if Juve
convinces Lazio to change the loan of Beppe Signori into a joint ownership
or a regular transfer.
Another suggestion made by Tuttosport is that Juve might be indeed
interested in Signori. Juve might want to get the player on loan, so
Signori can fulfill his wish to end his career with either Bologna or Lazio.
The only problem with the two scenarios above is that both Andersson and
Signori have played in the UEFA Cup, thus Juve wouldn't be able to use them
in the Champions League.
Third possibility : the trio discussed the future of Zambrotta, whom both
Juve and Lazio are interested in.
Final scenario : Cragnotti asked Moggi about the availability of Marcello
Lippi for next season and suggestions on other coaches for Lazio, such as
Fabio Capello, Arrigo Sacchi, Johan Cruyff, or Louis Van Gaal.
