Roma's offer for Sunday Oliseh is only a move to raise the price. Ajax now
wants Lit 24 billion for Oliseh, instead of the Lit 15 billion offered by
Juventus. Oliseh has reached an agreement for a 4-year deal worth $1.8
million per season with Juve. Juve, in order to avoid any more conflict
with Roma, might give Piergiorgio Regonesi and let Gamarra go to Rome. A
solution is expected in 48 hours.
With the arrival of Oliseh, Didier Deschamps will finally leave. Deschamps
and Juve have refused a Lit 4.5 billion offer by Monaco. Deschamps,
currently on vacation in his hometown of Bayonne, would prefer to go to
Athletic Bilbao.
The decisive meeting between Luciano Moggi and Alessandro Del Piero's
agents will probably be sometime this week.
Camillo Forte of Tuttosport called Lorenzo Amoruso, who said that he would
love to play with Juve, but that it has to move fast, since Rangers start
training camp in a week.
Meanwhile, Martin Djetou, currently on his honeymoon, said that he won't go
to Monaco's training camp and that he wants to play with Juventus next
season. Only one between Amoruso and Djetou will come to Juve.
Today, Jonathan Bachini should arrive in Turin. Udinese will receive in
return Igor Tudor and money. Tudor will be in joint ownership, with
Juventus keeping the right to get him back at the end of the season.
Simone Perrotta will move to Bari: Juve will have an option on Daniel
Andersson for the following season.
New names: 28-year old defender Salvatore Matrecano [Perugia] and 27-year
old midfielder Eyal Berkovic [West Ham]. Juve is still interested in Michel
Salgado.
Antonio Giraudo might move to Torino 2006 Olympic Committee.
Saturday, writer Mario Soldati, one of Juve's VIP fans and a good friend of
Giampiero Boniperti's, died. He was 92 years old.
