Alessandro Del Piero will resume his workouts today at Stadio Comunale with
trainer Aldo Esposito. Del Piero will join Juve in Chtillon July 2nd. Del

After it didn't find an agreement with Real Madrid, Celta Vigo has offered
Michel Salgado to Juve, but the latter refused, since it already has a lot
of players for the flanks.
Luciano Moggi will let Didier Deschamps go if a team comes up with a Lit 10
billion [5.2 million; $6 million] offer. Juve could buy Giuliano
Giannichedda to replace him, but the team feels already safe with Antonio
Conte and Alessio Tacchinardi.
Marco Simone has received offers from Olympique Marseille, Monaco,
Fiorentina, and Juventus. His agent, Oscar Damiani, though, said that a
move to Juve is unlikely, since there's too much competition in the forward
department with Daniel Fonseca, Nicola Amoruso, and Juan Eduardo Esnaider.
Angelo Di Livio will end his 6-year career with Juventus and move to
Fiorentina. Di Livio asked for a 1-year extension to his current contract
(which expires in the year 2000) to close out his playing career in a Juve
uniform, but team management thought otherwise and put him on the transfer
list. To help Di Livio find a new team, Juve will only ask for Lit 3
billion [1.5 million; $1.8 million]. Soldatino is expected to sign a
2-year contract with Fiorentina.
