Juventus has many players doubtful for Sunday's match: Angelo Peruzzi, Mark Iuliano, and Paolo Montero, not counting that both Alessandro Del Piero and Juan Eduardo Esnainder will miss the remainder of the season.

Peruzzi's left knee keeps bothering him, but he's expected to start tomorrow. Iuliano should start, with Montero going to the bench in order to have him ready for the match against Milan, a match that Carlo Ancelotti calls crucial for Juve's future.

Zinedine Zidane has problems with his knee, but he is certain to start against Salernitana. When told by reporters that Zidane doesn't like his position in the 4-4-1-1 lineup, Ancelotti said that Zizou has never told him so and that he will never make Zidane play in a position where he can't give his full potential.

Sunday, Ancelotti will stick with the 4-4-1-1 and will keep doing so in away matches, while in home games he will use the 4-4-2, with either Nicola Amoruso or Daniel Fonseca next to Filippo Inzaghi.

Asked about his pupils Dino Baggio and Hernan Crespo, Ancelotti said that he would love to have them, but they will only come if Juve really needs them, not because the coach loves them. Moreover, he said, Crespo couldn't co-exist with Inzaghi, a player that he wants to keep, and that SuperPippo's perfect partner is Del Piero.

Luciano Moggi said that both Zidane and Montero will stay with Juventus next season, even though Real Madrid and Inter are very interested in the defender. Moggi added that Juve is not interested in Clarence Seedorf and Lilian Thuram, but he didn't deny that Jonathan Bachini will come to Juventus.

It seems that Didier Deschamps would rather play for Monaco next season, even though Athletic Bilbao is expecting him. Deschamps' replacement will probably be Flavio Conceiao (Deportivo La Corua).

Finally, this week was supposed to be crucial for Del Piero's contract renewal, but neither Pinturicchio's agents nor Moggi have made the first move and nobody is talking about the negotiation. Asked if Del Piero might plan to sit out the year and leave as a free agent, Moggi said Juve "will buy another player", not adding that, if this were to happen, Juve will probably sell Del Piero in the offseason in order to receive some sort of compensation.
