La Stampa 16/03/00

A couple of things that were not mentioned in the official site's article regarding Paolo Montero's interview and that were reported by La Stampa and Tuttosport:

Question: "Leaving the field in Vigo you made an ugly gesture towards the Spanish fans. Do you regret it?"

Montero: "No. I touched that body part because it was itching. And the Spanish fans didn't have a violent reaction."

Q: "Recently, Juve fans had something to say regarding your friendships with some of Torino's ultras bosses."

M: "I only answer to myself about my private life. Not even my parents can choose my friends."

The day after Simone Inzaghi scored 4 goals in Lazio-Olympique Marseille, his neighbour, Zoran Mirkovic, told reporters that, after each goal, the noise made by Filippo and his mother Marina was unbelievable and that Pippo rushed each time to the phone to call his father Giancarlo in Piacenza. The Inzaghi parents wish that Filippo wins the league title and that Simone wins the Champions League.

Halifax, one of Juve's many sponsor and the distributor of many Sony-Playstation games, has organized a videogame derby just when it is supposed to launch a new game, "UEFA Champions League". The teams are:

JUVENTUS: Alessio Tacchinardi, Gianluca Pessotto, Mark Iuliano, Darko Kovacevic, Zoran Mirkovic

TORINO: Mauro Bonomi, Marco Ferrante, Roberto Maltagliati, Francesco Coco, Roberto Cravero [team manager]

The "match" will be played at the Hotel Meridien-Lingotto.

However, the 4-on-4 videogame match didn't happen, as none one of the members of Juve's team showed up, while only two (Fabio Tricarico and Roberto Maltagliati) of Toro's team did.

Juve's official explanation is that this wasn't an official event and none of the players were forced to show up.
