Here's the current injury situation :

PLAYER / RETURN

Nicola Amoruso / February 14th Daniel Fonseca / February 14th Filippo Inzaghi / February 21st Gianluca Pessotto / February 21st Ciro Ferrara / February 27th Alex Del Piero / July 25th

Amoruso was visited by Dr. Martens in Antwerp and he was told that his ankle is fine. Amoruso is thus available for Piacenza-Juventus this Sunday.

Fonseca's bruise healed and he's ready.

SuperPippo has resumed training. He also spoke with Carletto Ancelotti and clarified their misunderstandings from the Parma days.

Pessotto has a slight contracture on his right thigh, so he needs 10 days of absolute relax.

Stiches were cut off from Ferrara's recent surgery. He will first resume training in the weight room, then he will join his teammates. Ferrara also commented on the recent coaching change and said, although he's on Marcello Lippi's side, he appreciates the fact that Ancelotti doesn't want to make any revolutions and wants to work on the job done by Lippi. Moreover, he says that he agrees with the management's decision to put Ancelotti right now, instead of waiting the start of the season.

Yesterday's training was pretty quiet (a couple of Japanese friends on Inzaghi's hunt), especially ever since Ancelotti talked to the representatives of the Black&White Fighters Monday night. The fans promised that they will leave Ancelotti work in peace and wait for the results (or the lack of) to make their voices heard. Antonio Giraudo and Luciano Moggi also talked with the Irriducibili Curva Nord (the fans on the opposite side of the stadium), but they seemed less "reasonable", although a lot of Juve fans are expected to support the team in Piacenza, especially considering the good relationship between the two teams.

Although the situation is safe, there are two police officers patrolling Juve's training ground.

Thierry Henry has found an apartment to live in (right in the middle of the city), while Juan Esnaider is still looking, since he needs more space for his wife and 4 kids: he will probably move in the hills around Turin. Ancelotti, who started living in the Concorde Hotel, moved to the Grand Hotel Sitea, where the team usually stays. He will be joined by his wife and two kids when schools end. They will probably start looking for a house in June. In the meantime, Ancelotti will do a lot of commuting between Turin and Reggiolo, something very similar to what Lippi did for 4 years.

Juve will contact Alessio Tacchinardi's agent and propose a contract extension.

Yesterday, Del Piero called from Vail and chatted with his teammates. Meanwhile, he met Deborah Compagnoni and gave her a #1 Juventus jersey with her name on the back. Compagnoni is a big Juventus fan, just like Isolde Kostner.

Today, at 2:00 PM, all the internationals (Angelo Peruzzi, Mark Iuliano, Didier Deschamp, Zinedine Zidane, Zoran Mirkovic) will resume training.

Current situation for the Piacenza game :

OUT : Del Piero, Inzaghi, Ferrara, Pessotto. SERVING A ONE-MATCH BAN : Tacchinardi. PLAYERS THAT WILL BE BANNED IF THEY GET ONE MORE YELLOW CARD : Di Livio, Inzaghi, Tudor, Zidane. PROBABLE LINEUP : [4-4-2] Peruzzi; Birindelli, Iuliano, Montero, Mirkovic; Di Livio, Deschamps, Zidane, Davids; Fonseca, Esnaider.
