Today's Tuttosport, obviously, talked mainly about Marcello Lippi's
resignation. A couple of articles were speculations on his successor, but
we already know that Carletto Ancelotti will take over.
In other news, Ancelotti attended Valencia-Deportivo La Coru�a to watch
24-year old forward Claudio Javier "Piojo" Lopez. Valencia is asking for
Ptas 3,600 million (Lit 40 billion; � 21,600), but Juve offers 25 billion
lire plus one or more players, choosing from the following list: Antonio
Conte, Angelo Di Livio, Didier Deschamps, Jocelyn Blanchard, Gianluca
Pessotto, Juan Eduardo Esnaider.
The newspaper also noted that not a single player talked to the media and
that there were two injuries: Pessotto (muscular problem, he will miss
Italy-Norway) and Daniel Fonseca (knee sprain).
Diego Armando Maradona attended Juventus-Parma, together with singer Eros
Ramazzotti.
Tomorrow, Alessandro Del Piero will meet skier Deborah Compagnoni in Vail,
Colorado: the event will be broadcasted during RAI's evening news.
