Although Rivaldo said that he will stay put at Barcelona, it is believed that he will leave the Spanish team in June. Lazio, Juventus, and Manchester United are said to be after the Brazilian. Luciano Moggi even sent a FIFA agent to Barcelona president Nunez to see how much worth they give to Zinedine Zidane. Lazio is ready to sacrifice one or more of the
following players to get to Rivaldo: Alessandro Nesta, Matias Almeyda, and Marcelo Salas. Sergio Cragnotti might be willing to sell Nesta to Juve with a discount if the latter helps Lazio get Rivaldo.
Moggi will go to Rimini to settle the final details of Brighi's
acquisition. Juventus is said to be interested in 22-year old Alberto Bernardi [Castel di Sangro], a Torino product. Juve is also after Bellini [Atalanta]: Milan is also interested in the player, but Atalanta refuses to let him go for the meantime.
Meanwhile, Ronnie O'Brien might leave Lugano in the near future. O'Brien has hardly played a minute in the Swiss First Division and should have maybe chose to join Bellinzone in the Swiss Second Division. Right now, there are plans to bring him back to Italy, to Crotone to be exact. Crotone, currently first in Serie C1/B, is coached by former Juventus player and Primavera coach Antonello Cuccureddu. Another option for the Irishman would be AEK Athens.
