Draw Sees Juventus Past Levski

TURIN, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Juventus came from a goal behind to scrape a 1-1 draw against Bulgarians Levski Sofia in their UEFA Cup second round second leg game on Thursday.

The draw was enough to see the Italian side go through to the third round 4-2 on aggregate. Levski made a bright start and took the lead in the 15th minute, when youngster Chavdar Atanassov finished off a flowing move with a neat finish past Juventus goalkeeper Edwin Van der Saar.

Lively Levski almost added a second ten minutes after the break when a corner from Zakhari Sirakov was headed against the bar by Juventus defender Alessandro Birindelli. Juventus had rested Alessandro Del Piero for the game and left Filippo Inzaghi and Zinedine Zidane on the bench and it was the Frenchman, brought on in the 63rd minute, who helped the Italians draw level.

After good work from Zidane, Gianluca Zambrotta fed Darko Kovacevic and the Serb's low shot snuck under the body of Levski goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov and crept over the line. The goal was Kovacevic's seventh strike in the UEFA Cup so far this season.
