Del Piero to Comeback for Juventus

CHATILLON, Italy (July 16, 1999 9:01 a.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - Italy striker Alessandro Del Piero is expected to make his comeback for Juventus on Monday after being sidelined for eight months with a knee injury.
Italian media said Del Piero would play in a friendly against a local side at the Turin side's summer training camp in the Alps.
Del Piero has not played since he tore ligaments in his left knee during a league match on November 8.
His injury came just as he appeared to be returning to form after shaking off an adductor muscle injury which wrecked his World Cup finals in France.
