LA CORUNA, Spain (May 7, 1999 1:55 p.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - Brazil midfielder Flavio Conceicao said on Friday he wanted to leave Spain's Deportivo Coruna to sign with Serie A power Juventus.
Flavio also claimed the club owed him 55 million pesetas ($356,500).
"There are many things that need fixing at this club and the directors know this very well," Flavio said.
"But the first thing that needs fixing is this (the debt) and after the league has finished we are going to be talking about the offers I have recieved."
"All the world knows that for more than a year I have had problems with my contract and I want it resolved. I want Deportivo to give me the money and then we will really see if my buy-out clause is five billion pesetas ($32.41 million)."
Flavio, who was in Brazil's original World Cup squad last year but had to drop out through injury, has been at Deportivo since 1996. He has a contract until 2003.
In April last year, Flavio said AC Milan had made a bid for him but the move was blocked by Deportivo president Agusto Lendoiro, who wanted the Italian club to pay the full amount of the disgruntled player's buy-out clause.
