Conte Signs Two-Year Extension with Juventus

TURIN, Italy (April 23, 1999 2:26 p.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - Antonio Conte has extended his contract with Juventus for a further two years, club director general Luciani Moggi announced here on Friday.
The 28-year-old midfielder's contract was due to expire at the end of 2000, but will now continue until June 2002.
Conte made his league debut for Lecce while still only 16 years old - a rare achievement in Italian football and joined Juventus for $4.8-million in 1992.
