TURIN, Italy (April 13, 1999 11:09 a.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - Juventus midfielder Zinedine Zidane aggravated a recent knee injury but his condition is not serious and he was expected to train later on Tuesday, the club said.

Zidane was substituted at halftime in Juve's 2-2 home draw with Bologna, triggering fears he would miss his side's visit to league leaders Lazio on Saturday and its European Cup semifinal against England's Manchester United the following Wednesday.

But a Juventus spokesman said: "We'll know more after today's training session in which Zidane is expected to play but the injury doesn't appear that serious."

The French World Footballer of the Year missed three matches in March because of the injury.

He returned for Juve's 1-1 draw with United at Old Trafford on April 7, and produced a superb performance despite playing with heavy strapping on his right thigh just above the knee.
