MANCHESTER, England (April 7, 1999 3:27 p.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - French World Cup hero Zinedine Zidane was named in Juventus' starting line-up for the Italian side's European Cup semifinal first leg match at Manchester United on Wednesday.
Zidane's participation had been in doubt because of a twisted right knee which has kept him out of action since mid-March.
Juventus coach Carlo Ancelotti was also able to include Uruguayan defender Paolo Montero, who has recovered from a thigh muscle injury but there was no place for captain Ciro Ferrara, named only as a substitute.
United, as expected, were at full strength, but Norway's Henning Berg was preferred to compatriot Ronny Johnsen in defense alongside Holland's Jaap Stam.
