MANCHESTER, England (April 5, 1999 11:04 a.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) - Manchester United's Jaap Stam returned to full training on Monday, confident he will be ready to face Juventus on Wednesday.
The Dutch defender missed Saturday's draw at Wimbledon after going over on an ankle during a training session with Holland a week ago.
But he has responded well to treatment and manager Alex Ferguson says he is sure Stam will be ready for the clash with Juventus.
It means Ferguson will have a full-strength squad at his disposal as United try to become the first British club to reach the final of the Champions' League since the European Cup was restructured.
Both Ryan Giggs and Jesper Blomqvist returned to action at the weekend after being sidelined during the international break.
