MILAN (February 28, 1999 1:44 p.m. EST http://www.sportserver.com) - Inter Milan may face a heavy fine this week after a group of fans attacked Juventus' team bus as it entered the San Siro stadium for a Serie A match on Saturday night.
Inter hooligans threw objects at the bus, causing cracks in several of its plate-glass windows down one side. None of those inside were injured, but the incident is bound to land Inter in trouble.
Juventus midfielder Angelo Di Livio said: "It wasn't terrible, but then it wasn't pleasant either."
Inter president Massimo Moratti, whose team ended up with a 0-0 draw, apologized and said: "This is just an unthinkable. People who genuinely have Inter's best interests at heart cannot behave like that."
