TURIN, Italy, Dec 12 (Reuters) - The following is a factfile of Marcello Lippi, who said on Saturday that he would be leaving Italian champions Juventus at the end of the season:
1948 - Born April 11, Viareggio (Italy)
Played for Red Star Viareggio boys team.
1970 - Joined Sampdoria, playing as a libero.
1971 - February 17, made Italy under-23 team debut. Played two matches in all for the national ``B'' team.
1981-82 - Moved to Pistoiese in Serie B and then Lucchese in Serie C.
Retired after 239 matches and seven goals in Serie A.
Career as a coach:
1984-85 - Returned to Sampdoria as youth team coach
1985-86 - Joined minor league Pontedera as coach
1986-87 - AC Siena
1987-88 - AC Pistoiese
1988-89 - Carrerese
1989-91 - Joined serie A Cesena. Took them to 12th in league and turned down offer to coach Atalanta. Fired the next season.
1991-92 - Joined Lucchese in Serie B.
1992-93 - Moved back to Serie A with Atalanta Bergamo
1993-94 - Napoli, took them into UEFA Cup.
1994 - Joined Juventus from July 1
Achievements with Juventus:
1994-95 - Serie A champions, winners of Italian Cup and UEFA Cup finalists (lost to Parma).
1995-96 - Winners of European Cup (beat Ajax 4-2 on penalties) and Italian Supercup
1996-97 - Serie A champions, winners of European Supercup and Intercontinental Cup. European Cup finalists (lost 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund).
1997-98 - Serie A champions. European Cup finalists (lost 1-0 to Real Madrid).
