NOTTINGHAM, England (Nov 17, 1998 - 9:45 EST) - Juventus watched Pierre van Hooijdonk's return to goalscoring ways with Nottingham Forest on Monday night.
The Serie A side had a representative at the City Ground when Van Hooijdonk scored in the 2-2 Premiership draw with East Midlands rivals Derby.
It was the transfer-listed Dutchman's first goal since he brought his three-month strike to an end.
Forest boss Dave Bassett confirmed: "Juventus had someone watching the game.
"I don't know if they were watching Pierre or not but there was certainly a Juventus representative in the stadium."
Bassett is keen to offload the six million pounds ($9 million)-rated striker and use the cash to strengthen his relegation-threatened squad, currently third from bottom in the English top flight.
