TURIN, Italy (Nov 9, 1998 - 18:57 EST) - Juventus midfielder Angelo Di Livio was interviewed by a state prosecutor Monday as part of a continuing search for drugs in Italian football.
Di Livio, who spent two hours with magistrate Raffaele Guariniello, is the latest in a series of current and ex-Juventus men to be quizzed over the club's training routines and supplements given to players.
The international winger left by a side entrance to avoid waiting reporters.
Guariniello opened his inquiry last summer following insinuations by AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman that Juventus' Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluca Vialli had used performance-enhancing drugs.
The charges have been firmly denied and Zeman currently faces legal action over his comments in a magazine interview.
