ROME (Sep 24, 1998 - 9:37 EDT) - French World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane makes a welcome return for Juventus in Saturday's Italian Serie A clash with Parma.
Zidane missed both Wednesday's impressive 4-0 Italian Cup win against second division Ravenna and the disappointing 2-2 European Champions' League draw at home to Turkish side Galatasaray a week earlier.
Although he played in the 1-0 home win against Cagliari on Sunday, Zidane was left out of the Ravenna cup tie because of a recurrence of the bruised knee he sustained in a 4-3 win against Perugia on the opening day of the league season.
Striker Alessandro Del Piero and Filippo Inzaghi, both also rested against Ravenna, return to lead the Juventus attack against Parma.
Four Juventus squad members - defenders Ciro Ferrara and Mark Iuliano, midfielder Antonio Conte and striker Nicola Amoruso - are ruled out of Saturday's game through injury.
Iuliano pulled a right thigh muscle against Perugia while the other three are still recovering from injuries picked up last season.
