TURIN, Italy (Sep 23, 1998 - 19:37 EDT) - Juventus set a dubious club record on Wednesday -- for the smallest attendance at their Delle Alpi stadium.
Just 583 paying spectators turned up to watch the league champions beat Serie B side Ravenna 4-0 in the second round of the Italian Cup.
The vast concrete stadium on the outskirts of Turin has a capacity of 69,041.
The previous lowest attendance at the Delle Alpi was 787 against Serie C side Brescello in the same round of the same competition last season.
