LONDON (Sep 22, 1998 - 11:13 EDT) - West Ham manager Harry Redknapp revealed on Tuesday that the English Premier League club is discussing a link-up with Juventus.
Redknapp travelled to Rome at the weekend to meet Juve general manager Luciano Moggi and is keen on forming an association with the Serie A club.
He said: "It is clear Juventus are really enthusiastic about linking up with us."
Juventus approached Crystal Palace last season about a deal in which they would have invested money in the London club and loaned them some of their young stars.
But since Palace's relegation from the Premier League Juventus' interest has cooled and West Ham are now thought to be top of their list.
Redknapp added: "It has possibilities for both clubs but that's as far as it has gone at the moment.
"If it developed there would obviously be the opportunity for us to loan and buy top players from Juventus when they become available."
