MILAN, Italy (Aug 25, 1998 - 18:13 EDT) - Two goals by second-half substitute Filippo Inzaghi won the Berlusconi Trophy for Juventus on Tuesday night as it beat beat AC Milan, 2-1, before a crowd of 75,000.

A new-look Milan dominated the first half and took the lead with a 31st- minute header from Germany's Oliver Bierhoff, who, like new coach Alberto Zaccheroni, had just arrived from Udinese.

But it was Juventus' old-style fighting spirit that turned the match around in the second half, with the shrewdest move coming from coach Marcello Lippi to send on Inzaghi after halftime.

Inzaghi, who had been rested after suffering an adductor muscle injury, collided with the ball after it had bounced free from German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann and sent it over the line in the 66th minute.

The man Juventus fans call "Super Pippo" then followed up with a winner five minutes from time after another defensive error.

AC Milan veteran Alessandro Costacurta failed to intercept a cross from Uruguayan striker Daniel Fonseca and Inzaghi was left free to smack a first- time shot straight between Lehmann's legs.

Some consolation for the home side was a promising performance, particularly in the first half, and a clear improvement on its other preseason friendlies.

Juventus will, meanwhile, hope to add a more important trophy to its collection on Saturday night, when the reigning champions take on Italian Cup winner Lazio for the Super Cup.
