Juventus And Real Still Hunt Vieira
MADRID, December 29 (DS) - A number of clubs have expressed their interest to sign Patrick Vieira, who was announced the best player of France 2001 by �France Football�. However, the greatest interest to sign Vieira has been observed from the Italian Juventus and Real Madrid.
Juventus officials have confirmed for a number of times their readiness to swap Edgar Davids with Vieira. According to �La Gazzetta dello Sport�, Agnelli has already made a fantastic offer to Vieira, however Juventus major stockholder is well aware that the French star would rather prefer to move to Spain to play with Zidane.
Meanwhile, the Italian side hoped the Spanish club would prefer to save money for Alessandro Nesta, while Real extended their contract with Pavon.
