Ancelotti's And Lippi's Comments On The Eve Of Milan vs. Juventus Match

MILAN, December 9 (DS) - On the eve of Milan AC v Juventus FC match to be held today at San Siro stadium, Milan deputy chairman Adriano Galliani declared: "Milan and Juventus are the first teams in Italy and Europe, and a real Italian derby will be held today. "

Two titans of the Italian football are meeting tonight, while many regard this match as a contradiction between Ancelotti and Lippi, Nedved and Costa.

In this regard Juventus head coach Marcello Lippi announced: "This is not our combat. Ancelotti's side may have prepared for the match better than my team. There are coaches, who have never won in personal skirmishes but they have gained great victories in matches, and there are coaches who have won in duels but have not gained real victories."

Lippi explained his announcement in other words: I have never won over Ancelotti, but I have gained much more victories than he."

Juventus had three points more under Ancelotti's tenure a year ago than now under Lippi's tenure.

"Yes, it is right. But one can gain three points thanks only one victory. This season we reached the Champions League second group stage, are continuing to play in the Italian Cup and are not playing in the championship unsuccessfully. I've reached much with this team," Lippi stated.

And what is the secret of the victories of Old Lady? Lippi thinks that the danger from Del Piero and Trezeguet against the rivals is the reason of their victories. Now Filippo Inzaghi is not at Ancelotti's disposal due to an injury, but Shevchenko and Costa are, and Milan head coach is not going to put his cards on the table.

FIFA vice-president Antonio Matarrese has announced that on the threshold of the match he knows which side will gain a victory.

He said: "Milan will win this match because Galliani and Giraudo have agreed upon it. But Juventus will win the second leg. But if I was able to do I would make the both sides lose."
